The Delaware Art Museum (page 154) has reopened in its renovated home
on Kentmere Parkway.
New Orleans, formerly the Brass Ladle Bistro (page 62), has
closed.
Renovations at the Delaware Museum of Natural History (page 165) are
complete; the museum has reopened.
The Chester County Conference and Visitors Bureau (page 12) has moved
its office from Exton to 17 Wilmont Mews, Suite 400, in West Chester. The new

The Delaware
Art Museum (page 154) is temporarily closed as the collections are moved
back into the renovated Kentmere Parkway location.

The Delaware Museum of Natural History
(page 165) is temporarily closed for renovations and expansion. Re-opening is planned
for early 2005.
Nemours Mansion and Gardens (page 183)
will close for extensive renovations beginning January 1, 2005. The site
expects to remain closed for two years.
Zanzibar Blue (page 241) has closed.
The Pennsbury Land Trust Hot Air Balloon
Festival (page 244) is no longer held.
The West Chester Business Improvement
District and Welcome Center

The Brandywine River Museum (page 23) now
offers educational tours of the historic Kuerner Farm, a major source of
inspiration to Andrew Wyeth. Guided tours allow visitors to explore Wyeth’s
creative process and view areas of the property depicted in many of his works.
Through November 21, tours are offered at timed intervals, Wednesday through
Sunday. The fee is $5 per person in addition to museum admission. Shuttle buses
depart from the Brandywine River Museum. Due to uneven walking surfaces, the
Kuerner Farm is not accessible to disabled individuals. For more information,

Just Desserts Café (page 236) has moved to 1828 West

A new restaurant has opened in Kennett Square (page 145)
– The Orchard, 503 Orchard Road, Kennett Square, PA 19348, off US Route 1 between downtown Kennett Square and Longwood Gardens. Telephone 610-388-1100. Open Wednesday through Saturday, 5 to 10
pm; Sunday, 4 to 9 pm. Entrees are in the $23 to $29 range. All non-smoking.

The Brass Ladle Bistro at 31 Olde Ridge Village in Chadds Ford (page 62) has been replaced by

Joya (p. 91) has been renamed Celebrate with Joya and is now selling only accessories, gifts, and home items (no clothing). The proprietors have opened a new
Joya at 30 E. Street Road in West Chester, in the shopping center at the
southeast corner where PA Route 926 and US Route 202 intersect. This shop sells women’s clothing and accessories, and also encompasses

The Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts

2003
The Brandywine River Museum in Chadds Ford (p. 24) will increase admission prices beginning January 18, 2004. Admission for adults will be $8; for seniors over 65, full-time students with identification, and children ages six to twelve, admission will be $5. Children under six will continue to be admitted free. The fee to tour the N.C. Wyeth House and Studio (open April through November) will increase to $5. The $3 fee for audio tours will remain
unchanged.
La Petite Bakery in West Chester (p. 114) has been renamed
Aloha Café. The menu has been expanded to include items like pulled pork and mahi-mahi. All other information remains the same.
The Best of Broadway Dinner Theater in Wilmington (p. 214) has closed.
